I am yet to actually understand what separates a casual drinker with the habitual drink to you drop fella.I am personally convinced that alot more people are alcoholics than they tend to admit.I was recently in one of the most decayed street corners of Yaounde and believe me there were 16 bars for every regular shop u see.You see... the thing about alcohol is that there more demerits than there are merits to consuming it.One enters into their own format of reality thatz never encountered when sober. To most Cameroonians..alcohol has fast become the drug of choice.I once had a co worker in Vienna who told me drugs help peope to get by...and it is a thin line between recreational user and a crackhead.Having arrived recently in Douala,i realised that if alcohol was crack cocaine...then a mojority of Cameoonians are would-be crackheads.I feel sad for my generation,it seems the only way currently to escape the economic free fall or have a good time is in the mix of liquor and booze.
Losers make excuses, Winners make it happen! Alcohol may be man's worst enemy, but the bible says love your enemy

Why blame the population or pple, its either you drink or you don't..
Recreational or casual drinker compared to the drum water is as comparing eating
puff puff with small and plenti sugar...
If you want to change Cameroonians, take off the booze and fags then see what they will do.
But how that can be done is the probs

I will be interested to read a study done to show how much alcohol cameroonians consume and I'll like the study to answer the following questions
- Consumption per week?
- which demographic drinks/consumes more alcohol? the rich or the poor?
- do more poor people spend more money or alcohol than the rich
- how much money can someone save if they where not spending it on alcohol
Because having an alcohol or drug addiction is not cheap! so I don't understand how sometimes, someone who is clearly living in pooverty can afford to even have an addicition?! How are you drinking beer if you are broke?
But who prays for Satan? Who, in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most?

The best way for any research on this topic should start from the suppliers of alcoholic drinks.
Brassaries for example. But there are room for errors based on the fact that some drinks come in through frudulent means into the country.
Also, while we took of alcholic drinks would we take Palm wine as an example.. There is not measure in this commodity.
based on supply.. Production is uncountable.. So if limited to Beer then an easier approach to our findings is possible
